Kirk Holladay passed away yesterday in a solo automobile accident on Hwy 965. Friend, partner, father, brother, we are poorer for the loss, but richer for the life he gave us all.

My grief is indescribable. I love you brother, rest in peace.

God, I loved this man. I am so heart broken and shattered by this news. My tears for his family, but most of all for his wonderful daughter Sophia. She lit his world as he did so for us.

Kirk was a great guy and was loved by all. When I got divorced earlier this year he took the time to help me through it. I'm stunned and shattered. And so, so sad. It's hard to type through the tears.

Thanks for the pic Kracken. Love you Kirk. Thanks for being there for me when I really needed help.

Jesus, sorry to hear the news. I thought Kirk was a really nice, funny guy. Kirk had a daughter around the time I did.

Another really good guy named Bruce out in California died in a single vehicle accident a few weeks ago.

Gone too soon, much too soon.

Heartfelt condolences to friends and family, especially Sophia.

Kirk and Rockabout guided me on my first climbing in Central Texas. I will always be grateful for his showing me the ropes in this wonderful area. Thanks Kirk.

All climbers are brothers and sisters, every one. RIP Kirk.

My favorite quote on this friendly website. Thanks for the notion, Bill. Never more appropriate than now.

And now Kirk knows, as we do not, what is next once we slip this mortal coil. I hope he remembers how we struggle, as much as we remember how he stood up when it all weighed so heavily, and I pray my buddy knows how he bolsters our lives. I can only hope Sophia will grow up knowing the crazy breadth of her dad's love for her and its unbridled wildness, as I have seen and felt.

Always,
Keith
